Fair Trade

So Fresh. So Clean. So Fair.

Walking around the city, sometimes you can't help but listen in on other people's conversations. Or maybe I'm just nosy. In any case, this is one was funny, and I had to share. It was between two men having some breakfast.

"...I can barely remember to brush my teeth before bed, how am I supposed to remember to put on moisturizer?!"

Don't lie. You know you've fallen asleep before brushing your teeth too. I'm guilty as charged. Sorry, Mom. Sorry, dentist. But! Fret not, I have a point to all this eavesdropping. I started to think about my own grooming habits, especially after reading something about greening my personal care, it made me wonder if there were Fair Trade personal care products out there. I had heard of organic, but Fair Trade? Initialize Google search. Luckily, I didn't even have to go far. Someone recently gave me a tip about a product. A Fair Trade Certified product.

It seems, this company called Anti-Body has made the first Fair Trade Certified Sugar scrub. An exfoliating scrub made out of Fair Trade Certified organic sugar. Oh joyyyy. The ads should say something like, "delectably smooth, delectably fair"...or something. I'm pretty happy to have heard about this product because I really try to incorporate Fair Trade products into many aspects of my everyday life, and as the Fair Trade concept expands, the easier it gets. Now, I'm off to find out more about where this sugar comes from. The curiosity never ceases.

Good night. Don't forget to brush! But not before you check out this crazy toothpaste experiment. Anyone want to get started on the first Fair Trade Certified toothpaste? Look for the label on your grocery shelves...and your medicine cabinet.
