Quick updates on things you should check out.
- Wondering what happened during this weekend's Fair Trade Federation Conference in Portland, Oregon? Colleague, good friend, FTF Board member and twitter-er, Tex Dworkin (@dogoodbiz) did a great job livetweeting the whole weekend. Check out the rest of the #FTFC09 twitter stream.
- I can't stress enough what a great resource the Public Citizen blog on Globalization and Trade is for finding out about the progress and setbacks around multilateral agreements, labor, policy and all your trade agreement watchdog queries.
- Guest blogger, Shayna Harris put up her next installment of her Fair Trade theorizing. The other week, she posed the question: What is Fair Trade? This time around, she took everyone's responses and has come up with another question for you: Who OWNS Fair Trade? Great great question that was explored at a recent debate at the London School of Economics. What do you think? Who owns Fair Trade? Leave your comments. I'm working on my own response right now.
- Speaking of comments, fellow readers have been leaving great comments on the Put People First march post, including comments from Fair Traders that were at the protest. Scroll down to the comments and see what they thought about the march yourself.
- Speaking of the G20, fellow Change.org blogger, Michael Bear Kleinman is heading to the UK and will be blogging for the G20Voice project and he's asking for your advice.
- Finally, take some time to think about grapes, farmer rights and the fight for the underrepresented tomorrow for Cesar Chavez's birthday.
