Ask for Fair Trade Coffee at Starbucks
Starbucks recently made the pledge to double their Fair Trade Certified coffee purchases making them the largest purchaser of Fair Trade coffee. However, oftentimes when you go to a cafe and ask for their Fair Trade Estima blend, they have fail to live up to the Fair Trade promise, despite company policy to serve it when requested.
Make the pledge to ask for Fair Trade coffee everytime you visit a Starbucks cafe. See to it that they follow through on their commitment of Corporate Social Responsibility and show them there is a consumer demand by urging them to live up to their Fair Trade promises.
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

While Starbucks may be the largest purchaser of fair trade coffee, it is still less than 10 percent of its total product. They can and should make a much bigger push to purchase fairly traded coffee and become a true leader in the movement.

BOYCOTT Starbucks, picket every Starbucks franchise until this billion dollar empire stops enabling Israeli 100 to one killiings of innocent Palestinians, reversing owner MR Shultz zionist activities & he pressures the Knesset for full rights of return or full compensation for stolen Palestinian lands, peace, Larry 843-826-1750

I agree with mike! I haven't been to a Starbucks every since they went up on their prices. I practically lived there because I thought the concept of lounging with a warm cup of joe in my hands and meeting new people was great, but I was already spending $5 on a small cup as it was and to go up! It outraged me! I have stuck to my guns and haven't stepped one foot into a Starbucks. So my pledge is to educate everyone I know that goes to Starbucks about the Fair Trade Coffee!

Please just dont go to STARBUCKS at all, ever. Doubling their amount of fair-trade purchased is BS, they could be entirely fair trade. If only they cared about people, and not maximized profits....gosh, wouldn't that be a strange world? ..
